Dozer Black Lager Release (12oz 6pks + DRAUGHT)

  • Google Calendar ICS

The depths of this California winter require some toasty treats from time to time. Fortunately the darkness leads to the light, or in this case, the darkness IS actually THE light. We welcome back to the board one of our cult classic beers, Dozer Line. A black lager this beer is deceptive and delicious. Dark in color with roasty character, this beer is refreshing, with contrasting flavors of biscuit, dark chocolate and toasted walnut. Easily drinkable at 4.6% ABV this is a brewers favorite for it's drinkability and complexity. Dozer Line gets its name from the heroic firefighters who bulldoze firebreaks in the hillsides as they burn. We think this beer serves as a perfect reward for any of our firefighting friends!

[NOTE: Zack Gregson was a local Wildland Firefighter who passed away in a tragic accident last year. Zack was a "swamper" (part of the dozer crew who walks alongside the dozer to give eyes on the terrain for the dozer driver), so we are brewing Dozer as a way to commemorate Zack's memory and honor his legacy. The Gregson family will be meeting at Colt St. on 8/19 for the release, and there will be a limited run of Dozer Line shirts sold exclusively at Colt St on 8/19. We'll see how many are left after the weekend, and that will help us determine whether or not it'll be possible to transport them and sell them at other taprooms. Thanks! - JI]

It’s earthy yet tropical; it’s dank yet fresh—it’s a Weekender, yet the weekend festivities have only just begun.

Dream Gleam Release (DRAUGHT ONLY)

  • Google Calendar ICS

Helles is arguably one of the most balanced styles of beer; it's a German lager variety that presents beautiful malt flavors and crisp Noble hop characteristics in a wonderfully symbiotic presentation. The word helles in German can be translated to "bright" in English, which is a very accurate description of how Helles lager presents itself in the glass. A synonym for bright in English is gleam, and the name "Dream Gleam" comes as a play on words that describes both the goal in making a Helles (think Dream Gleam as in, "ideal brightness") and that otherworldly, shimmery sheen that occurs in most depictions of dream sequences in the visual arts. Drink Dream Gleam, and lose yourself in a harmonious dreamscape where all that glitters is gold...

SOBO Hazy IPA Release (16oz 4pks + DRAUGHT)

To the ends of the earth, will you hop with me? Our annual NoBo/SoBo tandem release showcases hop growing regions in the Northern & Southern Hemispheres. This year's expedition features some of that NEW-NEW: hops who can trace their lineage to New Mexico and New Zealand! SoBo Hazy IPA sailed south, seeking the siren's call of some wildly alluring hops grown in New Zealand: Rakau, Southern Cross, and Wakatu! The origins of the Land of the Long White Cloud are as mythical as they are majestic, and the hops grown there are a gorgeous reflection of one of the shining gems of geography: New Zealand really does have it all. So let's give a big cheers to YEW Zealand! Sure we couldn't invite you to make the trip, but we'd love to invite you to take a sip!
